Healing Children
of Conflict
Healing Children of Conflict heals families and communities by facilitating medical treatment for children seriously wounded in conflicts involving the United States, and thereby educates others about the root causes of those conflicts in order to prevent their recurrence.
Thanks to everyone who joined us to hear Dr. Izzeldine Abuelaish, a doctor from Gaza who uses his work as a healer to build reconciliation among Palestinians and Israelis. See the

Sayed Abdullah, a young boy from Afghanistan, who will receive initial treatment in India.

Salee Allawe was injured during a 2006 American airstrike, losing both her legs. Healing Children of Conflict is raising funds to outfit Salee with new prosthetics as she continues to heal and grow.
