Our warm gratitude goes out to the more than 180 people who joined us for a memorable evening celebrating Middle Eastern cultures through delicious food and enchanting music by the renowned Ara Topouzian Ensemble, an award-winning group of musicians from Detroit, at the 29th Street Hall in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Thanks to your generous contributions, Healing Children of Conflict was able to exceed all of our targets in raising money to offset the costs of Salee Allawe's ongoing medical treatment!
Furthermore, the momentum generated on November 5th continues, with plans now underway to continue our work by bringing a war-wounded child to Grand Rapids for medical treatment. Those interested in volunteering can get in touch directly at volunteer@healingchildrenofconflict.org.
